Based in Dallas, Texas, carpenter Karl Boonzaaijer invited me to document his craftsmanship across two distinct homes. One features a remodeled kitchen and bathroom designed to complement the home’s quaint yet modern aesthetic, while the other highlights Karl’s expertise in custom furniture. From the curved bar in the entertainment room to the sideboard in the formal dining room, each piece reflects precision and purpose. Capturing the seamless flow between his work and the spaces they inhabit was central to this project.
